So we finally have snow here in Vernal. It has been really cold, but we just got snow yesterday, and we got a lot! As you all know I am not a fan of the cold for many reasons, but mostly because it makes my head go crazy which it has been for the last week. Also, I have not driven in the snow since 2005. That's a long time! After I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralga I wasn's allowed to drive and that was in May of 2006. I just got my license back this summer and so today was my first experience driving in the snow, and to top it off I was in a borrowed car. I felt like it was my first time driving all over again and I only went down the street and back.
I also just finished up school and am taking a 5 week break which is much needed, especially with the holidays. We are headed out to Salt Lake this Thursday to see my dad graduate with his Masters Degree and are really excited about that. Aaron will be driving though so we will be safe. I wouldn't trust me behind the wheel. We are still getting over the fact that our house is sold. It was a happy and sad occasion at the same time. We were happy to get rid of the payment, but sad to see the house go and hope that the new owners love it as much as we did.

Vernal
I know I have been really slacking on keeping this updated, so now you get a lot at once. Aaron and I have moved to Vernal, UT to run and someday take over the family auto shop. Our house has been up for sale in Sandy, and we should be closing on the sale this coming week sometime.
Vernal has been very good. Nice, quiet, peacful and Aaron and I have been able to spend much more time together. So far we are loving it here. We are currently living with his parents for about a year and then plan on looking to get something of our own.

Pay it Forward
My friend did this and I think it's a fabulous idea!
And then there is this....The first three people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you. This offer does have restrictions and limitations: I make no guarantees that you will like what I make! What I create will be just for you. It will be done this year. You may have to be patient. You will have no clue what it's going to be. It may be a story. It may be poetry or maybe even some creation I haven't invented yet. I may draw or paint something. I may bake you something and mail it to you. I may even sew something for you. Who knows? Not you, that's for sure! I reserve the right to do something extremely strange. Oh, the catch is that you must re-post this on your blog and offer the same to the first 3 people who comment on your blog. (Or if you don't have a blog I will just trust that you will do nice things for 3 people this next year.) I am excited to create something just for you! Hurry quick...comment! Then go pay it forward.

A little uneasy....
So it has now been one week since my second try of starting this new medicine. It has also been one week since I have quit drinking... That's right, I quit drinking for a while. I was starting to drink too often and sometimes too much, so I quit a week ago today. My head seems to be hurting worse than ever and I am not sure if it is the new medicine, the not drinking, or maybe a combination of both. This has made it very hard on me emotionally. Not the drinking, but my head hurting. When my head is really hurting I tend to get depressed very easily. It can sometimes seem to much for one person to handle and I have fallen into that mind frame once or twice this week. The good news is I have a loving husband, and now that I am watching Boston again he brings a lot of joy into my life. So far, so good... but I will just have to take it day by day and hope this medicine starts doing something soon other than making me tired..

Updates
So I had a hard time with my new medicine, so we are trying it a different way now. So far so good, so I hope it continues to be this way. Also, I am going back to watch Boston!!! I am so excited. We have made some changes, which will be better for my health, but I have been so lonely at home since I stopped watching him. I watched him yesterday and today and I just love to see him grow and change and I love the smile on his face when I walk in the door in the mornings. I know I am a sucker for a cute baby, especially when it is my nephew.... I start watching him on Monday, so wish me luck that my medicine continues to work and I will be able to handle the medication as the dose increases each week for the next month.

A little bit of catching up...
Well, I haven't posted for quite some time... I know I have been a slacker, but I have been really busy, and am now back home again fulltime. I am starting a new medication tonight, which hopefully will work, since it is my last option. I am a little nervous because I have heard good and bad things about this.
Aaron has been so supportive through everything and I owe a lot of my strength to him. My drivers license is being taken away again, so once again I will dependent on him to get me around. The other person I owe a lot to is my best friend Kylie. I went and saw her over the 8-11 of this month and it was amazing.
She is such a strong person, and has taught me that their are true friends out there in this world. I really appreciate her friendship and can not wait to see her again. She lives in Las Vegas and I live here so most of our time is spent on the phone. She is a great listener and is always there when I need her no matter what. I am already trying to figure out how to go back out and see her again...... I love you and miss you Kylie and your cute family.
My twin sister Cheree has also been a great tool of support for me lately. She talks to me daily and reassures me of what I am doing... I will be watching her son Boston every other Friday, depending on how my medication goes, and she will be picking me up and taking me home. She is really a great sister and I couldn't ask for anymore right now.
I will try to post more frequently now that I am home full time again, so until then... I love you all.

Heat is good!
So for those of you who don't know... we have not had a furnace all winter long, and have been heating our home with an indoor kerosine heater. It kept the house at about 54 degrees, but made our clothes and house smell like camping. Well, we finally got the furnace fixed, and it was free from a neighbor, who also happens to be a general contractor. We are now sitting at a comfortable 67. (Although Aaron says when he gets home he is turning it down to 64). I LOVE BEING WARM. I finally don't have to wear 5 shirts, 2 pairs of pants, and an insulated beanie in the house....... Yeah for heat!!

Finally in the blogging world
So, I know we don't have kids yet, but I thought it would be fun to finally create a blog. I love looking at all my friends and family's blogs, so why not... Aaron and I have been married for 6 years. We have two dogs that are our babies for now. They are named Loki and Thor.
